This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Manufacturing and Production processes. Based in High Peak, Derbyshire, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.

As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be tasked with the following:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on heavy industrial machinery, electrical systems and equipment.
  • Utilise the businesses CMMS to plan and record maintenance activity.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and machinery.
  • Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.

A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • HNC minimum in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in maintaining electrical systems within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards related to electrical maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
