We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join the Engineering & Manufacturing team. This role involves providing technical expertise and support within the industrial and manufacturing industry.

Description
- Provide field service support across all commercial vehicle products, including diesel, electric and hybrid systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs at customer or third-party sites.
- Complete major component replacements (transmissions, e-motors, inverters, etc.).
- Support new product introductions and deliver technical feedback.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and liaise with product specialists and development teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to minimise asset downtime.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and ensure company vehicle and stock are managed effectively.
Profile
- A successful Field Service Engineer should have:
- Level 3 Engineering qualification or Apprenticeship
- Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical capability.
- Background in field service engineering.
- Experience with electric/hybrid systems (IMI Level 3 preferred).
- Diesel/electric PSV experience advantageous.
- Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with industry diagnostic software.
- IT skills and a full UK driving licence.
Job Offer
