In this role, you will be responsible for the full operation and preparing the incinerator for maintenance.

My client is a specialist recycling and reuse company focusing on Electrical Waste and Electronic Equipment. They ensure environmental sustainability through efficient waste management. In this role you will help carry out both reactive and planned preventive maintenance, ensuring maximum uptime, environmental compliance, and safe operation of critical plant and equipment.

  • Performing General Maintenance Duties

Monday to Friday - 45 hours per week

Profile

  • High mechanical and process awareness.
  • Mechanical bias with Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience, ideally involving hydraulics, pneumatics, or process plant machinery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment; recycling/WEEE experience desirable.
  • Flexible, team-oriented attitude with the ability to support additional tasks or shifts when required.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement and new working methods.
  • Willingness to cover alternative shifts when needed.
