New opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team in Wakefield, responsible for maintaining and improving automated production equipment through planned maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown repair activities.

Description
Duties will involve however not be limited to:
- Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance.
- Engage and manage external contractors.
- Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours.
- Assisting and managing the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum recognised Level 3 electrical and mechanical qualification.
- Experience working within a maintenance department.
- Experience working with automated conveyor systems.
- Experience fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH.
Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical team.
Job Offer
Please note, this is a shift based role.
Week 1 - Day shift 5:45am - 2pm
Week 2 - Night shift 9:45pm - 6am, and Sundays 6:30am to 1:30pm
Week 3 - Back shift 1:45pm to 10pm
Salary including shift allowance is Β£47k. 22 days (pro rata) paid annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of service.
