This Test Engineer role will suit a mechanically minded Engineer looking to further develop their specialist hydraulic expertise, while working on a wide range of pumps, valves, motors, transmissions and other hydraulic equipment. You'll be expected to work independently and as part of the team, producing high-quality work to tight tolerances with a right-first-time attitude. Testing hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, motors, transmissions and other ancillary equipment Fault finding and detailed inspection work Compiling test certificates and performance graphs Working on units from a variety of manufacturers Working alongside the Workshop and Technical Managers to achieve customer requirements This position offers extensive training and development, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and is eager to expand their technical knowledge. We are looking for a practical, reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or workshop environment Ability to read and interpret mechanical or hydraulic drawings and schematics Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office programmes Understanding of workshop health and safety practices Previous hydraulic testing experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as comprehensive training can be provided.
