We are seeking an Multi Skilled Engineer to join our clients engineering and manufacturing team in Horwich. This permanent position involves maintaining and optimising automated systems within the retail industry. Description As the Multi Skilled Engineer you will be tasked with the following; Work on equipment such as automated picking and packaging machinery, mechanical and electrical machines. Carry out maintenance and repair tasks on automated systems and machinery. Diagnose and resolve technical faults to ensure smooth operations. Implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and performance. Support the installation and commissioning of new automated equipment. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop technical solutions. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system updates. Profile A successful Multi Skilled Engineer should have: Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Proven experience working with automated systems in the retail industry. Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £49,680 25 days of holiday leave.
