This large organisation is a leading player in the industrial and manufacturing sector. With a dedicated team of professionals, they are renowned for their quality products and commitment to innovation. Producing highly detailed and manufacturing drawings inline with BS8888 using Solidworks, whilst maintaining MRP systems and PDM, ensuring high levels of accuracy and data Represent Engineering in meetings when required. Taking full responsibility for any Engineering commitments that have been agreed Introducing and maintaining Engineering processes for technical drawings and validation. Working to project plans, autonomously or with the appropriate project lead. A successful CAD Design Engineer should have: Proficient Solidworks user Proven experience in CAD role, ideally within regulated industries (e.g., defence, aviation, automotive). Is able to produce highly accurate working 2D CAD drawings using 3D modelling and in line with design and manufacturing requirements Is able to maintain accurate engineering records, drawings, design calculations and files in line with process and procedures.
