The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You will oversee the end-to-end student lifecycle - from enrolment through to graduation - ensuring an exceptional student experience and strong governance standards. You will provide operational leadership to the Registry team, develop efficient systems and workflows, and support compliance activities across the institution. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a developing organisation and influence continuous service improvement.

Develop and improve operational systems, workflows, SLAs, SOPs and digital tools. Plan and manage academic-year workload, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met. Develop reporting frameworks for internal and external reporting (e.g., KPIs, student performance). Line manage the Registry Team and support day-to-day operations. Oversee the student lifecycle to ensure a high-quality experience from enrolment to graduation. Lead student success initiatives including induction, advice and guidance, retention support and services for students with additional needs. Manage extra-curricular engagement including student voice, representation and mentorship activities. Maintain academic regulations, policies and processes ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies (including UKVI) and academic partners.

A successful Registry Team Leader should have:

  • Experience in Registry, student services/support or HE administration.
  • Staff management or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to manage operational processes, workflows and documentation.
  • Experience supporting the student lifecycle and contributing to quality assurance.
  • Confident using student record systems and digital tools (including MS365).
  • Strong understanding of HE regulations, compliance and data quality standards.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and prepare clear reports.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable in a developing organisation.
  • Interest in change management and service improvement.
