Job Description

This Junior Buyer position will be working for a growing manufacturing organisation based in Redditch. This role requires someone who has ideally worked in a manufacturing environment and enjoys a fast paced role with progression.

My client is a large well known manufacturing organisation who are looking for a full time Junior Buyer based in Redditch.

Description

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials required for production operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid disruptions in supply.
  • Review and evaluate supplier performance to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to forecast and manage procurement needs effectively.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier contracts.
  • Support the overall procurement strategy and contribute to process improvements.

Profile

A successful Junior Buyer should have:
