We are recruiting for a HR Assistant to join our industry leading client in the Transport & Distribution industry on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract in Stafford. The ideal candidate will provide excellent support to the Human Resources department, facilitating smooth operations throughout.
This opportunity is with a large-sized organisation that specialises in Transport & Distribution, based in Stafford. They are renowned for their commitment to providing reliable and efficient logistics solutions to their clients, maintaining a focus on continuous innovation and improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department
- Support the recruitment process by posting ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Help maintain employee records for new hires, status changes, and terminations
- Provide general administrative support such as preparing reports and keeping track of schedules
- Assist in the organisation and execution of company events and meetings
- Support the onboarding process for new hires
- Handle queries from employees regarding HR-related matters
