Page Group are working with a leading SME business who operate in the manufacturing supply chain industry, who are now looking to appoint a new Head of Customer Service at their offices in Sheffield.
Description
- Strategically and operationally lead Customer Service, Order Processing, Internal Sales Account Management.
- Create, implement and drive the CX Strategy across a national B2B customer base.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of existing processes and procedures to highlight opportunities to drive positive change, leading to better outcomes for customers, improved operational efficiency, reduced lead times and increased profit.
- Work closely with production planning to manage the order book to help create a timely distribution plan.
- Manage relations with 3rd party logistics providers, managing commercial contracts and ensuring SLAs are met.
- Take ownership of any escalated customer issues with a view to resolve in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the sales function to manage customer onboarding and provide support where required.
- Identify opportunities to implement new technologies, systems and AI that improve customer satisfaction and reduce manual workload.
