Description
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the budgeting process by gathering and analysing financial data.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities.
- Provide support for audits and ensure timely responses to queries.
- Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to improve financial processes.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- Relevant qualifications or training in accounting or finance.
- Experience in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- An eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Offer
- Salary between Β£35,000 and Β£37,000 dependent on the level of experience.
