Our client is looking for a Commercial Property Paralegal.
A leading law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with commercial property transactions, including drafting and reviewing documents such as contracts, leases, licenses, and reports on title.
- Conduct title checks and searches using Land Registry and other relevant databases.
- Prepare and submit Land Registry applications and SDLT returns.
- Assist with the exchange and completion process, including pre- and post-completion formalities.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, local authorities, and other third parties.
- Prepare and collate transaction documentation and bundles.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Support solicitors with ongoing management of commercial lease portfolios.
- Carry out legal research and due diligence as required.
Profile:
- Prior experience as a paralegal in commercial property law (typically 1-2 years minimum).
- Strong knowledge of commercial conveyancing processes.
- Proficiency in using Land Registry and HMRC portals.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong IT skills, including case management systems and Microsoft Office.
