To assist the Merchandiser on a day-to-day basis through effective planning, managing the supply base, re-forecasting sales and intake and ensuring optimum range availability.

A great opportunity for an Assistant Merchandise Planner to join a leading Fashion Multi channel retailer in West Yorkshire. The company is well established and has been trading for over 30 years. They sell Fashion products across Clothing, Accessories, Footwear and Lingerie.

Description

  • To manage the delivery schedule in line with stock and intake targets.
  • To work with the Buying team to manage the critical path.
  • To maintain good working relationships with internal and external suppliers.
  • To identify sales/stock opportunities and threats through line reporting and analysis.
  • To maintain accuracy of Line Cards to maximise the availability of core lines.
  • To support the Merchandiser in preparing for meetings and presentations.
  • To give support and direction to the Merchandise Administrator.
  • To deputise for the Merchandiser as required.
