This role is with a company in the industrial and manufacturing sector, based in Runcorn.

Description

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for apprentices and contractors operating within IR35 regulations, providing guidance and administrative support as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR information systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support the implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate learning, training, and development programmes, ensuring employees have access to relevant development opportunities.
  • Monitor and update employee data, producing accurate reports and documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements across all HR activities.
  • Provide comprehensive HR administrative support, including document preparation, employee correspondence, and general departmental administration.

Profile

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in a human resources role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Minimum of CIPD Level 3 qualification and above.
  • Ability to commute to Runcorn.
  • Ability to adapt and embrace changes.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from Β£40,000 to Β£44,000, dependent on the level of experience.
