My client is a leading environmental service business based in Nottingham looking for a Procurement Lead.
Description
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support business operations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
- Manage procurement budgets and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.Resolve any issues related to supplier performance or delivery delays.
Profile
You will be an experienced Procurement Lead/Leader, along with:
- Proven experience in procurement within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of procurement policies and relevant industry regulations.
- Proficiency in analysing data and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Can commute to Nottingham.
