Description
Personal Assistant to the CEO responsibilities:
- Own and optimise a complex, fast-moving CEO diary, coordinating internal and external meetings.
- Prepare and circulate agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions for key meetings.
- Handle travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, and itineraries.
- Act as the first point of contact for the CEO, managing correspondence and calls effectively.
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports as required.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and documents.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the CEO and the wider team.
Profile
A successful Personal Assistant to the CEO should have:
- Demonstrable previous experience as a Personal Assistant providing dedicated support to a C-suite executive in a FTSE 100 company, or equivalent.
- Proven experience of the full breadth C-suite support, including complex diary and inbox ownership, Board and executive governance, senior stakeholder engagement, executive travel and highly confidential matters.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under pressure.
- A professional and discreet approach to handling sensitive information.
- Confidence in liaising with senior stakeholders and external partners.
