Client Details
Our client are a market leading commercial equipment supplier, who support customers across a number of industries. The role of Installations & Deliveries Director will oversee 50fte focused on the end to end management of customer orders, timely delivery of orders and installation of commercial equipment.
You will lead the 50fte across customer service, order management, dispatch and field based installations engineers

- Full accountability for delivering new customer orders, including new order processing and delivery of installations.
- Lead teams to: Achieve order processing and installation KPIs including time to deliver and weekly / monthly delivery objectives.
- Efficiently plan and schedule installations, utilising sub-contractors where needed to supplement the employed installation teams.
- Maximise On Time In Full delivery and minimise Time To Deliver .
- Lead collaboration between operational and sales team, building a culture of operational support to achieve commercial objectives, whilst building technical skills in sales teams.
- Develop lead and office based and field technical teams to achieve commercial and productivity KPIs, maximising quality, efficiency and customer delivery.
- Drive operational and technical best practice to ensure minimal order drop-out and minimal time to install.
- Drive installation forecasting, with weekly data led delivery forecasts that accurately predict delivery value and volume across all key lines of business.
- Drive 'right first time installation performance, minimise installation fails and commissioning delays.
- Act as the leader and industry expert in delivery and installations excellence, driving continuous improvement and best practice to support the commercial growth plan with customer orientated installation solutions.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, creating a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and professional development that enables individuals and teams to perform at their best.
- Be an ambassador for continuous improvement, empowering the team and building capabilities to challenge established working practices and continuously drive improved effectiveness.
Profile
- Experience leading installations functions within a similar engineering setting - ideally commercial laundry or catering
- Experience leading field and office based teams, driving a culture of collaboration and building high performance.
- Experience driving technical standards, processes, and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing budgets with P&L responsibility and accountability for achieving targets.
- Demonstrable experience in process improvement.
