Job Description

  • Provide technical accounting advice and support to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of group financial reports to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Analyse and interpret complex financial data for accurate reporting and decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure alignment with group accounting policies.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards across the organisation.
  • Identify and resolve technical accounting issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and systems.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on technical accounting matters.
  • The Successful Applicant
  • A successful Technical Accounting & Group Reporting Advisor should have:
  • A professional accounting qualification (e. g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and group reporting requirements.
  • Experience in the energy and natural resources industry or similar sectors.
