Description
- Maintaining accurate books and records for European legal entities
- Preparing monthly and annual financial statements
- Producing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Supporting audits and working with external auditors and advisors
- Interpreting accounting standards and documenting accounting policies and controls
- Partnering with internal stakeholders, including finance technology teams, to improve and automate processes
- Ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-moving, regulated environment
Profile
- Recently Qualified in ACA / CA or equivalent with approx 1 year PQE
- Financial Services Sector Experience either in Industry or Practice
- Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator able to build effective working relationships across teams
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems an advantage
- Exposure to regulated environments beneficial but not required
