Actively trade Emerging Markets hard-currency credit, make markets, manage risk, and support primary issuance within a global flow trading platform. You will be working closely with internal teams and combining client-facing market making with disciplined risk taking and technology-driven execution.

Make competitive, consistent markets in Emerging Markets hard-currency cash products, with a focus on sustainable risk-adjusted returns. Actively manage risk and run positions across bonds and CDS in CEEMEA credit markets. Support primary market activity, including new issue pricing and distribution. Provide market colour and trade ideas to Sales, clients, and DCM partners. Trade and provide cover across other Emerging Market sectors within the desk as required. Identify opportunities to grow market share and product revenues, executing initiatives to enhance franchise performance. Maintain an active trading style with disciplined risk management controls. Proactively leverage technology, data, and analytics to improve pricing, execution, and workflow efficiency.

A successful Credit Trader should have:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in mathematics, finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience trading Emerging Markets credit, preferably CEEMEA corporates and financials.
  • Proven ability to price, manage, and trade EM risk independently.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income instruments and credit markets.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Programming or scripting skills (e.g. Python, Java).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-paced trading environment.
  • Comfortable processing and acting on large volumes of information in real time.
