Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with the relevant accounting standards (UK GAAP/IFRS).
Perform timely financial analysis to interpret and explain variances, trends and other key financial metrics, helping management to make informed decisions based on the financial performance of the bank.
Responsible for the production or review of the annual corporation tax return, quarterly tax payments, quarterly VAT returns and yearly return.
Prepare disclosure notes for the annual financial statements (under UK GAAP/IFRS).
