Description:
- Manage credit applications and approvals, while working alongside front office.
- Manage under-performing credit situations.
- Contribute to special credits on workout strategy, calculating correct reserves, and minimising credit losses.
- Demonstrate an awareness for exercising clear risk assessment towards new transactions.
- Identify key risks and mitigations on a transaction while adding independent input in the way of accurate credit paper.
- Collaborate with the wider risk function, front office and other teams as and when required.
Profile:
- Ideally 2-3 years experience within financial services - preferred exposure needs to be within project finance or asset finance.
- Would be open to candidates moving from Front Office credit or Portfolio management if you can clearly demonstrate a desire to be in a Credit Risk Management team.
- Exposure to Aviation / Shipping / Real Estate is advantageous.
- Good working knowledge of asset lending proposals advantageous.
- Strong and well articulated credit papers.
- Demonstrable modelling skills such as cash flow analysis, stress testing.
