We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Coordinator, Men’s & Licensee (FTC) in our London office:

Department Overview

The Retail Buying department is responsible for assortment building & trading for more than 100 brick and mortar stores & our e-Commerce site. The primary purpose of this position is to support the Buying team across the Menswear (Men's Apparel, Footwear & Accessories) & Licensee (Watches, Jewellery, Fragrance & Eyewear) departments, in administrative tasks to drive commercial results and achieve financial KPIs, while ensuring we remain trend relevant in the market. The Buying team works cross-functionally to identify opportunities, develop & execute strategies to build strong assortments and ultimately achieve or surpass financial objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for all administrative activities to support the Buying Team.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and seasonal selling reports to give the team visibility of results, including best-sellers reports.
  • Support the Buying Team in preparing for seasonal buys, hindsight meetings, monthly OTB meetings and weekly trade: running reports in BI (Business Intelligence) and other systems, as well as numerical analysis in Excel of large data sets and collaborating with the Allocation and Planning Teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Buying Critical Path is created each season and keep up to date as things shift and change and management of Market Materials.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with VM & eCom teams to ensure product is in store and on site in a timely manner and merchandised correctly in-line with the buy.
  • Maintain assortment plans, updating information and visual documentation to ensure accurate communication outwards to the wider business.
  • Carry out competitor shops identifying threats and weaknesses in the market.
  • Attend Store Visits to understand Customer Profiles and make recommendations on product assortments based on knowledge gained.
  • Support the Buying Team with ad hoc analysis, interpreting the data and making recommendations to the team to drive the department forward.
  • Sample management.
  • Support with style and order management.
