Reporting to: Global Retail Merchandising Manager, FTW

Role Purpose: To assist the Manager of Retail Merchandising FTW, driving revenue growth and ensuring the right assortment of products are available in the collection to maximise sales and enhance customer experiences.

Nature and Scope of Position:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reporting, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through, stock cover, and best/worst sellers.
  • Support with the maintenance of the long-range product plan, highlighting risks and trading opportunities.
  • Support the preparation and planning of the footwear global core assortment across retail stores and e-commerce channels.
  • Collaborate with Planning team to monitor global stock levels, sell-through rates, and product performance highlighting stock movement and transfer opportunities across store network.
  • Working closely with Planning, S&OP, Customer Services and Production teams to ensure timely Seasonal Product launches in line with critical path and marketing activities.
  • Co-ordinate Seasonal feedback from Regional teams, ensuring that all market requirements are captured.
  • Liaise with the Global Marketing, PR, VM, CRM and Retail Training teams to ensure that they have the information they need with regards to product focus for each trading period.
  • Support Marketing/Press teams with regional product investments and seasonal buys for marketing campaigns.
  • Own sample control for the department, to support global core assortments and ad hoc requests.
  • Support with co-ordinating Global production pre-orders for Retail and Wholesale.
  • Maintain competitor awareness and monitor market trends within luxury footwear.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in retail merchandising or buying (internship or entry-level role acceptable).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) & PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a passion for luxury fashion, particularly footwear.

Characteristics Required:

  • Innovative and proactive, with a “can do” approach.
  • Team player with the ability to work on own initiative when required.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and growing business, comfortable with change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Fashion, Business, Merchandising, or related field.
  • Experience working within a luxury or premium retail environment.
  • Familiarity with merchandising systems and reporting tools (eg. Power BI, SAP, PLM, FSR).
