Leading with responsibility for all aspects of store management, the Store Manager is responsible for building and leading a team dedicated to driving the business. The Store Manager is also accountable for meeting all operational budgets and developing and maintaining a proactive business plan.
Major Responsibilities- Inspire, lead, and coach the store team to create a culture of performance, accountability, and results.
- Recruit top talent while training and developing staff to build a team of true Jet Set Ambassadors.
- Drive team retention by ensuring actionable talent and succession plans are in place.
- Support, implement, and follow up on all training and onboarding initiatives for new hires.
- Take accountability for the regular evaluation of each Jet Set Ambassador's performance, providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Proactively manage and resolve all HR issues in collaboration with the HR Department.
- Ensure image and grooming standards are aligned with brand policy.
- Partner with the District Manager (DM) to review the integrity of PTS and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with retail partners on sales strategies, product knowledge, brand standards, and customer service excellence.
- Practice and role model company behaviors, ensuring effective use of the Behavior Toolkit.
- Lead the team of Jet Set Ambassadors to prioritize exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Ensure Jet Set Ambassadors maintain client communication through all available clienteling applications.
- Proactively manage the client database and utilize customer information to increase sales.
- Maintain a strong sales floor presence and lead by example.
- Provide coaching and support to help Jet Set Ambassadors resolve customer service issues, empowering them to make decisions in the customer's best interest.
- Generate additional revenue through local customer events.
- Build and maintain strong communication with the District Manager, corporate office teams, mall management, retail partners, and other stores to drive district-wide performance.
- Meet and exceed sales goals while holding yourself and the team accountable for results.
- Analyze business reports and develop action plans to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
- Work with the team on quarterly planning to establish effective business plans that achieve targets.
- Track and communicate business results and opportunities, driving sales performance and product knowledge.
- Ensure sales and unit goals are established and clearly communicated to all Jet Set Ambassadors.
- Ensure the store maintenance and auditing program aligns with brand standards.
- Control store expenses and continually seek opportunities to reduce costs.
- Maintain inventory control integrity through bi-annual inventory counts.
- Prioritize loss prevention, taking immediate action on early signs of loss in collaboration with the Loss Prevention Regional Manager (LPRM).
- Optimize store scheduling by ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- Collaborate with the District Visual Merchandising Manager (DVM) to implement and maintain all visual merchandising directives and execute effective merchandising strategies.
- Partner with logistics and product teams to ensure the appropriate assortment for the store, using product tools effectively to maintain size and style integrity.
- Ensure all company communication platforms are utilized effectively and that relevant actions are taken.
