We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Product Planner. The Franchise division is part of the Wholesale team within Michael Kors and is responsible for 140+ stores spanning 25+ countries, including Lifestyle, Multi-brand, Outlets and Ecommerce. The Planning function defines the strategic plans and must work collaboratively with Buying, Sales, Operations, Logistics and VM to maximise sales potential and drive the business forward. The team operate in a fast-paced environment and must be agile and dynamic to cater for the partner’s needs.

What You’ll Do: The primary purpose of this role is to support the MK Senior Product Planner, Commercial teams, and Franchise partners; to provide sales analysis and contribute to the strategic planning to ensure that commercial opportunities are maximised in our EMEA business.
- Produce and analyse trade reports to support trade analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Maintain the trading calendar; plan EOSS and promotional activities while coordinating with external partners.
- Manage the weekly review of the NOS program, highlight, and propose replenishment opportunities, and lead discussions with partners, challenging where necessary.
- Attend and lead meetings with select partners to review current performance, providing analysis to facilitate discussions on historical sales and strategic direction, and make suggestions to drive the business forward.
- Support Senior Product Planner to work closely with Operations to monitor the flow of stock into stores, ensuring timely launches of new seasons, reactive replenishment, and effective EOSS management.
- Manage the actualisation of all Partner WSSIs.
- Forecast and manage monthly sales plans for select partners to serve as the basis for seasonal open-to-buy projections, ensuring both MK and operator expectations are met.
- Autonomously manage select Partner WSSIs to forecast seasonal open-to-buys, propose in-season replenishment opportunities, plan promotional activities/EOSS, and minimise terminal stocks and cancellations.
- Present to Senior Product Planner for sign-off and lead negotiations with select partners.
- Assist Business Development and Buying teams for owned product divisions market preparations, range planning, assortment building, and buying appointments; deputise for Senior Product Planner when required.
- Support Senior Product Planner in planning and executing new store openings and developing exit strategies for store closures.
- Collaborate with the wider Planning team to maintain and develop reporting systems and processes to maximise efficiency, increase sales, profitability, and sell-through.
- Oversee Franchise line selling responsibilities managed by Planning Coordinators, ensuring accurate data input into internal systems.
- Support Senior Product Planner in establishing and streamlining ways of working for new and existing partners.
Leadership & Collaboration: Adept at working both autonomously and collaboratively. While there are no direct reports, expected to lead by example and play an active role in supporting and guiding Planning Coordinators.
You’ll Need to Have: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Solid experience within a Planning/Merchandising position (preferably within wholesale). Advanced Excel Skills. Experience in an International Brand/Retailer.
