A visionary and commercially minded Global Director of Social Media to lead our global social ecosystem and define the future of our brand across digital platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing a world-class social media strategy that elevates brand desirability, builds engaged communities, drives cultural relevance, and contributes to measurable business growth. The ideal candidate combines luxury brand storytelling with deep platform expertise, understands how culture and creators influence consumer behaviour, and has a proven track record of building integrated social, community, influencer, and affiliate strategies that deliver both brand equity and commercial performance. This leader will oversee global social strategy while partnering closely with regional teams to ensure local relevance and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Social Strategy
    • Define and lead the global social media vision, strategy, and roadmap
    • Develop channel-specific strategies
    • Identify emerging trends and establish governance
  • Social Content & Creative Leadership
    • Lead global social content strategy
    • Partner across Creative, Brand, PR, Editorial, Ecommerce
    • Champion innovative content formats
  • Platform Expertise & Innovation
    • Serve as expert across META, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, Snapchat and emerging platforms
    • Close collaboration with APAC on regional platforms including LRB, Douyin, WeChat and Weibo
    • Close collaboration with JP team on regional platforms including Line
    • Monitor platform changes, drive experimentation, evaluate AI tools
  • Community Strategy
    • Develop community strategy, engagement programs, standards and advocacy
    • Build long-term creator partnerships and oversee campaigns
    • Develop and scale a global affiliate creator program across platforms including ShopMy and LTK
    • Partner with Ecommerce and Performance Marketing
    • Manage attribution, reporting and optimization
  • Analytics & Performance
    • Establish KPIs and executive reporting including brand sentiment from existing tools (Lefty, Brandwatch)
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead the global social team and agency partners while collaborating cross-functionally

Skills, Experience and Qualification

  • 10+ years in social media, digital marketing or influencer marketing
  • Luxury, fashion, beauty or premium brand experience
  • Proven global strategy leadership
  • Deep platform expertise
  • Strong influencer and affiliate marketing experience
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills
