Own the end-to-end buying strategy for Men's RTW, Footwear & Accessories across multiple channels and regions. Deliver cohesive, commercial assortments tailored to store profiles, regional needs, and seasonal trends. Balance long-term strategic goals with short-term trading opportunities to maximise sales and profit.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly and monthly trade meetings for Menswear, analysing product performance and financial KPIs and delivering actions to drive business.
- Prepare seasonal hindsight reports and build forward-looking strategies aligned with topline business objectives through data-driven insights, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Collaborate with the wider Buying team to manage cross-divisional responsibilities.
- Partner with the Merchandise Planning team to identify business and stock opportunities, manage product lifecycle, and drive reorders.
- Work closely with the Allocation function to ensure accurate and timely product distribution.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Store Operations, ECOM, and Wholesale Merchandising to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with Global and EMEA Merchandising functions and Global Buying teams to support product development initiatives to meet local product needs.
- Liase with EMEA Product Merchandising team to influence pricing strategies to drive margin and sales.
- Stay ahead of consumer trends and the competitive landscape to inform product ranging decisions.
- Communicate strategic priorities across the business through seasonal presentations and regular updates.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing buying team, fostering collaboration across departments.
- Frequent travel for market appointments and store visits to maintain close alignment with customer needs and product performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience at Buyer level or equivalent.
- Background in Menswear preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer literate - advanced Excel skills.
- Prior management experience.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial mindset.
