Who You Are: You take ownership of store operations and team leadership, working collaboratively to drive business performance. As Assistant Store Manager, you share responsibility for building a high-performing team, meeting operational budgets, and developing a proactive business strategy alongside the management team. You bring strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a positive, energetic approach to challenges.
What You’ll Do:
- People: Inspire, lead, and coach the store team to foster a culture of accountability and high performance. Support recruitment, training, and development to build a team of dedicated Michael Kors brand ambassadors.
- Sales and Service: Lead by example on the sales floor, driving results and holding yourself and the team accountable. Analyze performance reports and implement action plans to exceed expectations. Manage the client database proactively to enhance customer engagement and increase sales. Collaborate on local customer events to generate additional revenue. Ensure consistent client communication using all available clienteling tools.
- Operations: Maintain inventory integrity through scheduled audits and bi-annual inventories. Utilize company communication platforms effectively and take appropriate action on updates.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Proven retail and management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance sales and customer experience
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to a dynamic retail setting
