Department Overview: Capri's Digital Technology department is focused on delivering innovative digital commerce solutions that enhance the customer shopping experience across all digital and retail touchpoints. Our responsibilities span eCommerce platforms, in-store applications, and other digital selling channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging purchasing journey for consumers. What You’ll Do
- The resource is responsible for leading a team of software engineers of Salesforce commerce cloud applications, and AKENEO PIM systems.
- Technical designs for eCommerce applications including creating technical design documents, engaging team of developers to build and implement solutions, integrations with 3rd parties including payment service providers.
- Ensuring solution designs are flexible, maintainable, secure, accessible, performant for North America & EMEA regions.
- Drive teams to utilize and follow test driven development best practices.
- Provide eCommerce expertise and drive strategic thinking.
- Implementation of new features and bug fixing on the CAPRI Digital Platform.
- Work across agile methodology, working with multiple initiatives for CAPRI.
- Oversee development including mentoring and coaching software engineers to scale our software engineering practice.
- Create, communicate, and maintain best practices and coding standards and hold the development team accountable to follow these best practices through code reviews and code quality analysis.
- Staying current with digital commerce technology holistically with emphasis on platform technologies through conference attendance and continuous education.
- Manage and attack technical debt including maintaining and prioritizing a tech debt backlog.
- Identifying the technical process improvements to CAPRI’s site release strategy.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer science
- 15+ years of experience in the eCommerce technology
