We have an exciting role at Capri Holdings for a Senior Analyst, Planning, Allocation & Pricing Systems based in our London office:
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support and enhance Capri’s global Planning, Allocation, and Pricing technology platforms. This role combines responsibility for business-as-usual system support and continuous improvement with a key role in delivering a major global transformation supporting strategic Allocation system initiatives. You will work closely with global business and IT teams, acting as a trusted partner to Planning, Allocation, and Pricing functions, and helping shape the future systems landscape as Capri continues to evolve its technology capabilities.
This role sits within a global team, reporting to the Manager, Planning & Allocation Systems (US-based), with close alignment to the Director, Planning & Allocation Systems (UK-based).
Key Responsibilities- System Support & Operations
- Provide day-to-day support for: Blue Yonder Enterprise Planning (EP), Blue Yonder Advanced Allocation (AAL), Zebra Lifecycle Pricing (LCP), Foresight Retail Assortment Planning.
- Act as the primary point of contact for system incidents, defects, and user queries.
- Manage and prioritise tickets across internal teams and external vendors.
- Ensure system stability, performance, and data integrity across global environments.
- Enhancements & Continuous Improvement
- Own and manage a backlog of enhancements and improvements.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications.
- Support testing (UAT), releases, and deployment of changes.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve automation, and enhance user experience.
- Project & Transformation Delivery
- Play a key role in the global implementation of the new Allocation platform replacing Blue Yonder AAL.
- Support solution design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and rollout.
- Partner with business teams to define and validate future-state allocation processes.
- Support data migration, integrations, and cutover activities.
- Drive business readiness, training, and adoption of the new platform.
- Ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to the future solution.
- Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted IT partner to global Planning, Allocation, and Pricing teams.
- Understand regional requirements and ensure solutions work across markets.
- Provide guidance on system capabilities and best practices.
- Support training, documentation, and change adoption.
- Data, Integration & Technology Enablement
- Support data flows between Planning, Allocation, Pricing, and downstream systems (e.g. ERP, BI).
- Troubleshoot data issues and work with integration teams to resolve defects.
- Contribute to improvements in data quality, visibility, and reporting.
- Support the adoption of advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities, helping the business leverage new tools to improve forecasting, allocation decisions, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency.
- Governance & Documentation
- Maintain system documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base materials.
- Ensure all changes follow governance, release, and testing standards.
- Support audit, compliance, and operational controls.
This role is expected to adapt and grow as Capri’s systems landscape evolves, taking on additional responsibilities across new platforms, capabilities, and technologies as required. The successful candidate will contribute to shaping future ways of working, including increased use of automation, data, and AI across Planning, Allocation, and Pricing domains.
Key Focus Areas (Next 12–24 Months)- Ensure stable global operations across Planning, Allocation, and Pricing platforms.
- Support delivery of the Allocation platform implementation and rollout.
- Drive global process and system improvements.
- Support ongoing enhancements to Planning and Pricing platforms.
- Contribute to adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled decision-making.
Global, highly collaborative environment across multiple time zones. Balanced role across support and project delivery. Close interaction with business, IT, and vendor partners. Occasional international travel required to support workshops, implementations, and go-live activities.
Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in retail systems, planning, allocation, or pricing technology environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with global stakeholders across regions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and support teams.
- Strong foundation in systems analysis, business process design, and data handling.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or rollouts.
- Experience with allocation systems or supply chain planning tools.
- Understanding of merchandising, inventory, and allocation processes.
- Exposure to pricing or assortment planning tools.
- Experience working in a retail or consumer goods environment.
- Familiarity with data tools and data analysis (e.g. SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting platforms).
Certifications (Desirable)
- ITIL Foundation (Service Management best practices).
- Agile / Scrum certification (e.g. Scrum Master, Product Owner).
- Project delivery qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner).
- Cloud or data platform certifications (Azure, AWS, or equivalent – optional but valuable given the data/AI direction in the role).
