AI Solutions Architecture Leader – Up to £110,000

I am currently partnering with a globally recognised reinsurance organisation seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architecture Leader to join their growing data and AI function.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise‑scale AI and data architecture initiatives across a highly complex global environment. The position sits at the intersection of AI, cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, and business transformation, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders internationally.

The successful candidate will lead the end‑to‑end architecture of AI and data solutions, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, resilient, and commercially effective from concept through to production.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Enterprise AI and machine learning architecture
  • Databricks, AWS, and Snowflake ecosystems
  • RAG, vector databases, and agentic AI orchestration
  • Cloud‑native, API‑driven, and event‑driven architectures
  • FinOps and cloud cost optimisation
  • AI governance, security, and compliance

  • 15+ years within solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or senior technical leadership
  • Extensive experience designing AI/ML and cloud-native platforms at scale
  • Strong expertise across AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and SQL
  • Experience delivering scalable and operationally mature AI solutions
  • Insurance or reinsurance sector experience advantageous but not essential
