A leading London Market insurer is looking for an experienced Change Business Analyst to join a high-performing transformation team delivering strategic business and technology change across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier insurance business undergoing significant modernisation and operational improvement initiatives across underwriting, broking, operations, and policy administration environments.
The Role
You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to deliver end-to-end change initiatives within a complex Lloyd’s and London Market environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and supporting the delivery of strategic transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across business and technology change initiatives within a London Market insurance environment
- Engage with senior stakeholders across underwriting, operations, claims, and technology teams
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements
- Facilitate workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design sessions
- Support delivery of system implementations, operational change, and transformation programmes
- Produce high-quality BA artefacts including BRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional documentation
- Work closely with Project Managers, Developers, Architects, and Test teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational efficiency improvements
- Support UAT planning, execution, and business readiness activities
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance sector
- Essential experience within Lloyd’s / London Market insurance
- Strong understanding of insurance processes including underwriting, policy administration, bordereaux, claims, or delegated authority environments
- Experience delivering change and transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across both business and technology teams
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Strong documentation and requirements gathering capability
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to specialty insurance lines
- Experience with PAS/platform modernisation programmes
- Understanding of regulatory and operational change within insurance
- Experience with process automation or digital transformation initiatives
