My client, a start-up Insurtech SaaS provider, is seeking a well-rounded and hands-on QA Lead/Manager. This role would suit a Senior QA Engineer who could step up to lead and shape a team and QA function, as well as Leads/Managers who are hands-on and technical. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the insurance market and experience within it.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, master test plans, and automation frameworks for projects.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and coach QA analysts, handling workload, performance, training, and career growth.
- Test Management: Oversee test case creation, execution (manual/automated), regression, UAT, and performance testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and other teams to align on requirements and release cycles.
- Quality & Metrics: Define and track quality metrics, report on progress, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Champion best practices, identify process gaps, and drive initiatives to enhance testing methodologies.
- Hands-On With Testing: Remain involved in testing activities, potentially including functional, performance, API, or database testing.
