About the Role
A leading global insurance organisation is looking for an experienced Change Business Analyst to join its transformation team and support the delivery of strategic change initiatives across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-performing insurance environment, partnering with underwriting, operations, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver improvements across processes, systems, and ways of working.
The successful candidate will play a key role in understanding business needs, translating requirements into effective solutions, and supporting the delivery of change initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges, objectives, and opportunities for improvement
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across underwriting and operational functions
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support change initiatives from discovery through to implementation
- Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation
- Facilitate workshops with business users, technology teams, and key stakeholders
- Create process maps, business documentation, and impact assessments
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect management
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, technology teams, and subject matter experts
- Help embed new processes, systems, and capabilities across the organisation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within insurance, financial services, or a regulated environment
- Strong experience across business change, process improvement, and requirements gathering
- Experience working with underwriting, claims, policy administration, or insurance operations is highly desirable
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Experience
- London Market insurance experience
- Experience supporting digital transformation or technology-enabled change
- Knowledge of insurance platforms, underwriting systems, or operational processes
- Experience working with data, automation, or process optimisation initiatives
