We’re currently supporting a top-tier insurance organisation with the appointment of an experienced IT Project Manager to join the business on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-energy, delivery-focused Project Manager with strong Lloyd’s / London Market insurance experience to join a fast-paced and highly visible technology change environment.

The business is looking for someone confident operating across both technical and business teams, capable of driving momentum, managing senior stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end delivery of technology and business change projects within an insurance environment
  • Managing project plans, RAID logs, governance, reporting and stakeholder communications
  • Working closely with IT, operations, underwriting and wider business functions
  • Driving project momentum and ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and objectives
  • Managing third-party vendors and external technology partners where required
  • Facilitating workshops, steering committees and senior stakeholder meetings
  • Supporting business readiness, change management and implementation activities
Key Experience Required:
  • Proven IT Project Management experience within the insurance sector
  • Strong Lloyd’s / London Market experience is essential
  • Experience delivering technology, systems or transformation-focused projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong governance and delivery discipline
  • Able to operate effectively within fast-paced environments
  • Energetic, proactive and commercially minded approach
Desirable:
  • Exposure to underwriting, broking, claims or policy administration systems
  • Agile and/or Waterfall delivery experience
  • Relevant project management certifications advantageous
