My client, an insurance organisation based in The City of London has a requirement for a Business Analyst, with the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within insurance (London Market experience highly desirable, but broader insurance backgrounds considered)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive requirements from informal discussions through to formal sign-off
- Very good understanding of data, data structures, and data warehousing concepts
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis
- Strong Excel skills and experience using Power BI for reporting and visualisation
- Experience working across multiple reporting types (actuarial, financial, operational, etc.)
- Ability to explore and understand underlying databases and data flows
