About us:
Michael Dyson Associates Ltd is an established, successful and prominent multi-disciplinary construction consultancy providing a comprehensive range of professional services to the social housing sector. Established in 1980, we have four decades of wide-ranging experience working with clients throughout the UK.
The Role:
With a salary up to £25,000 and based at our modern Head Office in Huddersfield, this is a fantastic opportunity to join our Asset Management Team as a Surveying Technician to undertake a variety of challenging and hands-on surveying projects throughout the UK.
The role involves the inspection and assessment of residential properties, including Non-Traditional properties and high-rise blocks. The work you will undertake will confirm the constructed form, identify defects and enable our clients to adequately plan property management for the future.
Assessments are usually of an invasive nature and will involve the use of hand & power tools to open up the fabric of a building. This enables the collection of information on the buildings construction and condition to enable the Project Manager to produce reports.
You will also be trained in the use of specialist concrete testing equipment.
