The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Business Development Team at our modern Head Office in Huddersfield to implement the company’s marketing, communications and social media content. We’re looking for a proactive, creative and articulate communicator to build effective relationships with a range of different people. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, loves bringing ideas to life, and wants to grow their marketing skills in a supportive environment.
You’ll help us strengthen our brand presence through compelling content, well-designed materials, and consistent marketing activity across digital and offline channels.
Duties to include:
- Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms
- Update website content and support basic SEO tasks
- Develop LinkedIn Articles with Directors on current industry topics
- Develop case studies for Project Manager to edit that showcase our work and client success stories
- Create brochures and capability statements to support business development
- Design marketing banners for events, digital campaigns, and promotions
- Create bi-annual internal newsletters
- Undertake photos and videos of staff and project outcomes
- Assist in gathering of photographic imagery for marketing purposes
- Support with admin tasks such as reporting, CV updates
- Help co-ordinate marketing activities
Ideal Candidate:
- Full, clean driving licence
- Marketing/Business Management graduate with experience in a similar role
- Excellent English language & creative writing skills
- Experienced in social media content management (ideally within the construction industry)
- Experience with Canva and Adobe InDesign
- Comfortable using social media and basic digital tools
- Organised, reliable, methodical, a keen eye for detail and able to manage multiple tasks
- Confident communicator with a drive to succeed
- Willingness to travel to project meetings & sites throughout the UK
