Project Consultant M&A (m/f/d) – Business Transformation

Project
Support the M&A department in a Carve-Out project (details follow after NDA).
Responsibilities
- Independently execute IT-related M&A activities (buyer/vendor side).
- Conduct IT due diligence and pre-study (IT landscape, services, licenses, data migration, timeline).
- Develop separation concepts (logical, physical, rebranding) and document IT transitional services.
- Prepare and present results to customer/buyer.
- Coordinate technical requirements with internal/external stakeholders and advisors.
- Advise M&A Program Lead, IT teams, and business units on due diligence, pre-study, migration, and TSA topics.
- Apply corporate M&A IT standards and existing Carve-Out methodologies.
- Create technical documentation for top-management decisions (templates provided).
- Support legal negotiations on IT topics (due diligence, TSA, transition).
- Monitor timelines, budget, quality; deliver bi-weekly updates.
- Provide monthly risk reports with mitigation proposals.
- Represent the client professionally when dealing with external parties.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of M&A requirements and IT implications.
- Solid project management (agile/waterfall), including reporting, risk, quality, time, cost & stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical expertise in Carve-Outs: infrastructure, assets, commercials, licenses/contracts, processes, security, GDPR, compliance.
- Experience with IT strategy, infrastructure, applications, and SAP ERP separation/migration.
- Proven experience in leading IT M&A projects (3–5 years).
- Experience working in global cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in German and English.
