Job Description:
For one of our clients, we are looking for a Data Deletion Consultant (m/f/d).
Start: ASAP
End: September 2025 / End of Q3
Workload: 30–40%
Location: Zurich / Remote (50% on-site, 50% remote)
Context:
As part of a project aimed at systematically deleting personal data from various IT systems, several workstreams are underway. The objective is to consolidate all relevant aspects and implement them in a coordinated manner.
Objective:
Develop a detailed implementation plan for deleting unstructured data across Microsoft applications and Confluence. The conceptual framework and measures are defined; the next step is translating them into a concrete technical execution plan.
Responsibilities (independent execution):
– Develop a technical implementation concept (including configuration) for automated deletion of content after retention periods in MS SharePoint, MS Teams, and OneDrive.
– Create a technical plan for applying deletion policies in MS Exchange and Microsoft 365 using retention policies.
– Design and plan automated deletion of data in Confluence and JIRA based on deadlines.
– Define requirements and metadata criteria for MS Purview.
– Collaborate within an agile project team using Confluence.
Required Skills and Experience:
– In-depth experience with Microsoft products, especially in personal data deletion.
– Proven experience with implementing retention policies in Microsoft ecosystem.
– Familiarity with MS Purview.
– Basic understanding of data protection and privacy regulations.
– Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
– German fluency required.
