Senior Risk Officer – Milton Keynes Vacancy Name Senior Risk Officer Full-Time At MIB our people are passionate about making roads safer by getting uninsured and hit-and-run drivers off our roads. As our Senior Risk Officer you\\\\\\\’ll be working with the Head of Risk to support the development, delivery and embedding of the Risk Strategy, Risk Management Framework and annual risk management plan. You\\\\\\\’ll act as a technical lead/referral point for all risk management queries, assisting the business to adopt, understand, embed and meet the Risk Management Framework requirements and associated standards and processes. Support regular review and development of MIB\\\\\\\’s Risk Management Framework, associated standards and processes Support implementation of, and oversee, risk management practises and processes across the organisation to ensure the business effectively identifies and manages its risks and controls Manage and oversee the Risk Event reporting process across the organisation Design and produce regular and effective risk reporting for all levels of the organisation Support the business in developing and maintaining Risk Registers, providing risk oversight and challenge Maintain the MIB Enterprise Risk Registers to support the top risk assessment Complete periodic sample checks of business area risk management activity outputs providing feedback as well as reporting on results and associated actions Support implementation and maintenance of risk management systems, procedures and tools Champion a robust risk culture throughout the organisation to promote transparency and accountability for the management of risk. Seek continuous improvement opportunities for all aspects of the MIB Risk Management Framework – its development, awareness, adoption and adherence Chair risk meetings as required to discuss and promote risk management practises within all core MIB functions Provide clear, pragmatic and proportionate guidance on the interpretation and application of risk management requirements and development Proactively identify and report emerging risks with recommendations to mitigate these Strong risk management experience Relevant risk management qualification.
