People Development Advisor - FTC until 31 December 2025 - Milton Keynes
At MIB, our people are passionate about making roads safer by getting uninsured and hit-and-run drivers off our roads. Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers and Government, our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past but, until that’s accomplished, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately.
Last year we helped more than 42,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims rebuild their lives.
As our People Development Advisor, you’ll assist with the delivery of a proactive value-added service to the MIB Group whilst managing all administration in relation to the learning management system, to drive engagement and increased usage, working collaboratively across MIB to ensure the user experience is at the heart of all engagement activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with all line managers to provide a best practice approach to people development offering guidance that supports and promotes the EVP and culture of the organisation.
- Support the People Development Partner with aspects of defining, implementing and evaluating talent and development programmes, to support the talent strategy.
- Support the People Development Partner with continuous improvement of processes and ways of working.
- Support with developing project plans to achieve outcomes.
- Own and deliver projects to time, cost and quality.
- Support with auditing of all talent & succession planning, org development, performance management, learning and development programmes and the learning management system.
- Ensure all legal aspects are considered in decision making, including managing risk and compliance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Advisor in the Talent and Development space.
- Ability to own aspects of project work, delivering a consistently high standard while acting with pace and delivering results.
- Experience in assisting and supporting in the design and development of talent and learning programmes.
- A creative and curious mindset to deliver effective and innovative solutions for MIB.
- Good planning and organisation skills.
Salary circa £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
FTC until 31 December 2025, 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday).
320 (before tax) start-up allowance.
Hybrid working (2 days in the office per week) from our Milton Keynes office, MK14.
