At MIB our people are passionate about making roads safer by getting uninsured and hit-and-run drivers off our roads. Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers and Government our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past but, until that’s accomplished, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately.
Last year we helped more than 42,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims rebuild their lives.
We’re looking for a Services Manager to be the business lead for the operation and ongoing evolution of the Continuous Insurance Enforcement (CIE) programme, aligning with MIB’s strategy. You’ll own the creation of a roadmap of prioritised, measured, strategic and tactical change aligned with DVLA to ensure the service is secure, relevant and embedded as a key component to support MIB's strategic ambition to eliminate uninsured driving, as well as becoming a key component of cross functional working to ensure delivery is achieved against agreed targets.
- To focus on the uninsured driving prevention, and data service strategic ambitions as a priority to ensure the inflight and new initiatives are aligned.
- To be the business lead for the creation of CIE roadmaps and their development thereafter, working in conjunction with central services teams to ensure consistency is achieved.
- To work with the business and IS to help establish and maintain a clear and current picture of our 'as-is' landscape of products and services, and work collaboratively on 'to-be' views if required to ensure planning alignment is achieved.
- Own the day to day responsibility of ensuring the transfer of information between MIB service desk and DVLA operations is undertaken in accordance with the process that exists.
- Create and co-create presentation materials to be used in promotion of MIB’s strategic objective to eliminate uninsured driving.
- Support the Head of Uninsured Driving Prevention with Government level concepts that support the core strategic ambition to eliminate uninsured driving.
Experience:
- Developing and maintaining product roadmaps, ideally in insurance or financial service industries.
- Customer and stakeholder management, including delivering presentations to groups of varying sizes and up to c-suite.
- Developing financial and customer experience-led business cases.
- Self-reliant, ability to work without supervision.
35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
