Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

A West Drayton based electrical wholesale firm is looking for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join the team.

This role will suit an experienced driver/warehouse operative and offers the potential to build a career in the electrical wholesale industry with a leading wholesaler.

The days/hours are Monday to Friday 7.00am – 4.30pm or 7.30am – 5.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings paid as overtime.

Responsibilities:

1. Delivering goods and building relationships with customers.
2. Planning delivery routes.
3. Serving on the trade counter and booking goods in and out.
4. Picking customer orders.
5. Any other associated warehouse duties.

Requirements:

1. You must hold a full UK driver\’s licence – 3 points maximum.
2. Be hard working with a \’can do\’ attitude.
3. Able to prioritise your duties accordingly.
4. Electrical wholesale experience is ideal although candidates who have transferable experience working for a merchants or similar will be considered.

The Van Driver / Warehouse Operative will benefit from a competitive salary of circa £31k depending on experience plus profit share and benefits.
