Our Story

Worldwide Events is the parent company behind two highly successful event brands: M&I and Private Luxury Events, each serving distinct sectors of the global travel and events industry. Our brands connect the major players in both MICE and leisure travel through one-to-one meetings, inspirational social events, education, and destination discovery activities. Our suppliers and exhibitors are ground-breaking hotels, venues, and destinations in the events and hospitality industry who want to reach the world's most respected event planners and travel designers. We bring people together and facilitate strong relationships, connecting people on a human level first, business second. We call this H2H connection, and it is at the heart of everything we do.

At M&I we connect the global MICE industry through world-class events in the world's best destinations, attracting key buyers and creating an atmosphere perfect for networking. This is where the most valuable business connections are made. We believe in the power of human-to-human connections to secure high-quality business.

The Role

As an Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive attendance, engagement, and brand visibility across our global events portfolio. You will execute and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across the event lifecycle — from campaign planning and delivery through to on-site activation and post-event engagement, in alignment with the overall marketing and event strategy defined by and with the Head of Marketing. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, creative storytelling and data-driven marketing, ensuring our campaigns support commercial objectives while strengthening the reputation of our brands within the global travel and events industry. This is a permanent full-time opportunity reporting to the Head of Marketing M&I.

Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to define campaign goals, messaging and KPIs.
    • Ensure marketing activity supports commercial objectives and targets across our future solutions, sales, and buyer teams.
    • Analyse and report on campaign performance data to identify insights and continuously optimise marketing strategies.
  • Digital Marketing & Website Management
    • Manage and maintain event and brand websites, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and optimised for search.
    • Improve search engine visibility and website performance through SEO and AIO best practices and content optimisation.
    • Track website performance and suggest improvements, and work with our performance marketing manager to continually improve campaign results and increase website traffic.
  • Email Marketing & CRM
    • Plan and manage email marketing campaigns using CRM and marketing automation platforms.
    • Maintain email marketing calendars and audience segmentation strategies.
    • Work with Salesforce and marketing automation tools to monitor campaign effectiveness and improve performance.
    • Ensure the marketing database is accurate, compliant and effectively used for lead generation and communication.
  • Content & Marketing Materials
    • Develop compelling content across digital channels, including email campaigns, social media, event promotions and press communications.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications and materials.
    • Update and continuously identify ways to improve our marketing collateral and sales toolkit (including packs, website pages, case studies and industry reports).
    • Work closely with designers and content creators to produce high-quality visual and written assets.
  • Social Media & Community Engagement
    • Develop and execute a compelling social media strategy to build brand awareness and grow our social media reach whilst nurturing and engaging our community.
    • Identify new ways to showcase industry voices, partners and community stories through engaging content formats.
  • Event Marketing (Promotion and On-site)
    • Lead the execution of marketing activities at events.
    • Coordinate photographers, videographers and content teams to capture high-quality event content.
    • Gather testimonials, interviews and visual content to support post-event marketing and storytelling, working closely with our commercial teams to ensure we are aligned with their priorities and goals.
    • Conduct pre-event site checks when necessary to ensure marketing deliverables are correctly implemented.
    • Continuously analyse and track event content metrics and identify ways to improve reach and engagement.
  • Partner Support and Event Ownership
    • Take responsibility for key partner relationships to develop collaborative content and provide marketing support.
    • Lead on key event niches as identified by the Head of Marketing, becoming a geographic or niche specialist for the duration of a campaign.
    • Proactively build relationships with external suppliers and industry allies.
  • Industry Awareness
    • Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and industry awareness through marketing and media initiatives.
    • Monitor and report on competitor campaigns and industry trends to ensure we remain competitive and market leading.
