M&I, launched in 2006, brings together high-calibre meeting planners and exhibitors from the hospitality industry through a series of standout events across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Our portfolio includes M&I Expo, M&I Flagship, M&I Healthcare, and M&I Luxe. We create beautifully crafted events that spark meaningful engagement, from curated 1-2-1 meetings to immersive moments that showcase exceptional destinations, hotels, venues and MICE services.

As the Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns that drive attendance, engagement, and brand visibility across our global events portfolio. You will execute and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across the event lifecycle — from campaign planning and delivery through to on-site activation and post-event engagement, in alignment with the overall marketing and event strategy defined by and with the Head of Marketing and Director of Marketing.

This is a creative role for a passionate events marketeer, natural storyteller and excellent relationship builder. You ensure that our campaigns support commercial objectives whilst elevating our brand reputation and engaging our online community. This is a permanent full-time opportunity reporting to the Head of Marketing M&I.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Campaigns and Sales Support: Plan and deliver creative marketing campaigns to support the promotion and growth of M&I events. Work closely with the Head of Marketing to define campaign goals, messaging and KPIs. Ensure marketing activity supports commercial objectives and targets across our future solutions, sales, and buyer teams. Analyse and report on campaign performance data to identify insights and continuously optimise marketing strategies.
  • Digital Marketing & Website Management: Manage and maintain event and brand websites, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and optimised for search. Improve search engine visibility and website performance through SEO and AIO best practices and content optimisation. Track website performance and suggest improvements, and work with our performance marketing manager to continually improve campaign results and increase website traffic.
  • Email Marketing & CRM: Plan and manage email marketing campaigns using CRM and marketing automation platforms. Maintain email marketing calendars and audience segmentation strategies. Work with Salesforce and marketing automation tools to monitor campaign effectiveness and improve performance. Ensure the marketing database is accurate, compliant and effectively used for lead generation and communication.
  • Content & Marketing Materials: Develop compelling content across digital channels, including email campaigns, social media, and event promotions. Maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications and materials. Update and continuously identify ways to improve our marketing collateral and sales toolkit (including packs, website pages, case studies and industry reports). Work closely with designers and content creators to produce high-quality visual and written assets.
  • Social Media & Community Engagement: Develop and execute a compelling social media strategy to build brand awareness and grow our social media reach. Work with our design team to come up with creative content ideas that engage and inspire our community and build brand loyalty year-round. Identify new ways to showcase industry voices, partners and community stories through engaging content formats.
  • Event Marketing (Promotion and On-site): Lead the execution of marketing activities at events. Coordinate photographers, videographers and content teams to capture high-quality event content. Lead on the ideation and execution of the creative content plan for each event, including conducting interviews and liaising with our community. Conduct pre-event site checks when necessary to ensure marketing deliverables are correctly implemented.
  • Partner Support and Event Ownership: Take responsibility for nurturing key partner relationships to develop collaborative content and provide marketing support. Lead on key event niches as identified by the Head of Marketing, becoming a geographic or niche specialist for the duration of a campaign. Proactively build relationships with external suppliers and industry allies.
  • Industry Awareness: Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and industry awareness through marketing and media initiatives. Monitor and report on competitor campaigns and industry trends to ensure we remain competitive and market leading.
