As an Extruder Operator, you’ll be at the center of our Vinyl Extrusion team—keeping production running smoothly and ensuring top‑tier quality every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
- Operate 1–3 PVC extrusion lines to meet production and quality targets
- Safely disassemble, clean, reassemble, and change over tooling using overhead crane equipment
- Perform visual inspections and take accurate measurements using calipers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area—spray down equipment, sweep floors, remove debris
- Complete required documentation including productivity reports, machine condition notes, bundle tickets, and work orders
- Support packaging and forklift operations as needed
What You Bring
- Associate degree or technical school certificate — or 6–12 months of related experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, manuals, and written procedures
- Problem‑solving ability and comfort following detailed instructions
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment
