They are seeking an experienced and technically strong Paraplanner to join their London office (hybrid working). The Role
- As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners by providing technical expertise, conducting detailed research, and producing high-quality suitability reports for a wide range of complex financial planning scenarios.
- You will work with affluent clients requiring bespoke advice across areas including pensions, investments, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and wealth preservation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing comprehensive and compliant suitability reports
- Conducting technical research to support complex financial planning recommendations
- Analysing existing client arrangements and identifying planning opportunities
- Supporting Financial Planners with client cases from recommendation through to implementation
- Ensuring all advice and documentation meet regulatory and internal compliance standards
- Keeping up to date with legislative, regulatory, and technical developments
About You
- Previous experience in a Paraplanning position within a Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, taxation and trusts
- Excellent report-writing and analytical skills
- Experience supporting HNW and UHNW clients would be advantageous
- CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and further qualifications
